- Company Webcast gains access to 1,300 publicly listed companies in Europe

European roll-out of webcast & webinar services
Pan-European exchange group Euronext has today announced that it is taking a majority stake in the Dutch firm Company Webcast BV, the market leader in the Benelux region for high-end webinar and webcast solutions. Euronext has ambitious growth plans for the years ahead and intends to broaden its offering to customers by adding new corporate services.
Company Webcast will form an important part of the portfolio of corporate services that Euronext will provide to its 1,300-plus customers in France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Portugal. Webcasting financial events such as results announcements and shareholder meetings substantially increases the visibility of publicly listed companies and contributes to market transparency.

The acquisition coincides with the recent launch of Company Webcast’s Next Generation Webinar Platform. Based on state-of-the-art technology, this platform sets a new global standard for professional webcasts and webinars and offers customers many new features and extra benefits. The further roll-out of the Next Generation Webinar Platform to Company Webcast’s customers is continuing this year.

The name Company Webcast BV remains unchanged. In view of their wealth of experience and expertise in the area of professional webcast and webinar services, the Company Webcast BV management will also remain unchanged and they will continue to lead the company towards further international growth in the years ahead.
