Jet-Net and five big Dutch multinationals are using webinars to promote engineering at secondary schools. Young professionals that work at these multinationals use webinars to give interactive presentations on how everyday items work, they use examples like smartphones. Using this method they try to make engineering more sizeable. By using this method they hope that they can interest the students in choosing a technical focused study.
It is predicted that a shortage of skilled employees will hit the technical sector. Jet-Net tries to make the sector more interesting using webinars and big conferences.
