BinckBank regularly organises self-service webinars as a way of informing both existing and potential customers about the bank and its investment services.
To build a relationship with the customer, to gain the customer’s confidence and ultimately to ensure that the customer places their money with you – that is the objective of an asset manager. Trust is of crucial importance, because without trust there is no basis for collaboration. After all, this concerns people’s own money and often their savings.
Binck was aware that it needed to win the trust of prospective customers. The bank decided to use webinars to provide information effectively and interactively. The aim was to inform interested parties about the ins & outs of investing, but also to communicate its own results. Ideally, Binck wanted to do so from its own premises.
Using our Next Generation platform, Binck organises webinars independently which it broadcasts from its own webinar studio. The investment bank has already built up a large archive of on-demand webinars which are available through the portal. The portal is easy to search and its design has been completely adapted to the Binck house style. This has helped Binck to build up a loyal viewer base.
Binck regularly attracts between 200 and 950 participants per webinar, which represents a big success. A large percentage of those participants watch the entire broadcast, which means that Binck has its audience’s undivided attention for an average of 50 minutes per webinar. Furthermore, the webinars are very interactive; some sessions generate as many as 300 questions for the asset manager! And the participants award the webinars an average evaluation score of 8 out of 10. A blueprint for all webinars, in other words.
