Studio Webinar
Jet-Net, the Dutch network for young people and technology, works together with Company Webcast to provide online, interactive guest lectures for pupils in secondary education.
Webcasts and webinars are excellent communication tools to organise online lessons and training courses. Jet-Net is making effective use of our webinars, enabling secondary school pupils to gain insight into the world of work and the technology industry.
Challenge
When Jet-Net approached Company Webcast, it had a clear objective in mind: to help pupils become more familiar with the technology industry. The aim was to use interactive webinars to really involve pupils in the webinars. A quiz was included to add an extra competitive element in which the various schools in the Jet-Net network would compete against one another. The pupils also had the opportunity to share their own ideas with Jet-Net, such as about energy-saving ways to charge a mobile phone.
Solution
Jet-Net recorded the guest lectures in our professional Company Webcast webinar studio in Rotterdam.
Result
The Jet-Net guest lectures were organised in collaboration with companies in the technology industry. For example, an online guest lecture was presented by Ewald Breunesse, Manager of Energy Transition at Shell. That webinar was watched online by more than 30 classes from within the 24 Jet-Net schools. The webinar was focused on innovation in the energy sector and the associated technological challenges.
